Recent projects:
Since 2012, I am working as a molecular-biologist in the department for genetics at LABOKLIN. My field of work spans the topics of genetic diseases and inherited characteristics like coat colours in dogs and cats. Discussing results and scientific questions related to the field of genetics with veterinarians, breeders and pet owners is part of my daily routine. Additional projects with scientists all around the world include the development of new genetic testing procedures and scientific discussions about recent findings in the field of genetics and pet healthcare. Most recently, a book covering the genetics of coat colours in dogs has been published by Dr. Laukner and myself.
