Course Overview
This course is directed for residents and diplomates in Diagnostic Imaging and Neurology who want to take their Neuroimaging skills a step forward, as well as participants of the “Focus On: Neuroimaging” course. When the basics of Neuroimaging are familiar, this course will help to reach the next level. The lectures will aim specific topics, and at the end of each day, there will be 1.5 hours of case discussion to warp around all learning points. This will be a three-day residential course in the beautiful city of Palma (Spain).

• Intra-axial vs. extra-axial lesions: what are the features that help us the most to differentiate them?
• DWI/ADC map: understanding how this sequence works and when it makes a difference in the diagnosis.
• Intra-axial hematomas vs hemorrhagic neoplasia: be confident about it.
• Many faces of intracranial infections: when do we suspect about it?
• Ring enhanced lesions- how to differentiate them?
• Cystic lesions of the cranial caudal fossa
